Being Holistically Balanced
The term holistic refers to your entire being. A holistic approach to living, implies that you are focusing on all aspects of your life, including physical and energetic.
It also implies that you are directly involved in the holistic process of maintaining your well-being, since only you can know how you feel. That is why it is essential to tune into your feelings on a holistic level, to remain balanced. By continuing to be aware of your feelings, you can know which direction to take to correct any imbalances.
But why and how do imbalances happen? Why is it not possible to stay in a perfectly happy frame of mind? Well, perhaps it is.
World events or personal situations can be unpleasant, or even tragic at times, seemingly impossible to change. It takes a strong person to stay balanced in such situations, but there are different ways to look at the same event.
To begin, it is helpful to expect the best outcome. By doing so, you are contributing to the creation of that result. This does not necessarily mean that the expected outcome is known. In addition, you may not understand why certain events happen. However, in the overall scheme of things, and from a certain point of view, it might make perfect sense.
On an energetic level, intelligent design is part of every process. With that understanding, you can remain an observer in any situation, even when events affect you directly.
When you truly believe that life is good and all is well, it allows you to expect that the best outcome will always be the end product. Beliefs are extremely powerful. They create your reality. Therefore, no matter what the situation, you can always focus on a reality where problems and issues do not exist. This is not to say you should live in a fantasy, or ignore what is happening. The trick is to create the optimal landscape and operate from there.
When you are living holistically, all aspects of you are in balance. You are nurturing the physical and emotional parts of yourself, as well as the spiritual.
When you set realistic and achievable goals, you are able to accomplish a balanced lifestyle. Say you wish to have time to relax or meditate and discover you are too busy, perhaps you can take five or ten minutes to have a calm, peaceful interlude. The result may turn out equally effective.
Nurturing yourself is essential for maintaining a holistic and optimized state. Relaxation and quiet time prepare you for a restful night’s sleep, which in turn allows you to function more efficiently the following day.
Moderation is the highest human state.
Living holistically is achieved through balance and moderation. The result is a reduction in physical and emotional stress. Once tension and strain are diminished, wellness and stability are restored to the Light body, and you become more connected to the energetic sources of life. Decisions become easier, answers are provided, knowing is apparent, and the highest human state is experienced.
